TWO...... stinkin' cute!!!The Wicke's apparently found some baby bunnies in their back yard which their dog would have enjoyed for a snack.. The kids took them to the desert where they would "SAFE" !!!
MY children saw them and just knew they had to rescue them because something would have killed them..(Clever are they not?) So what do they do? Bring them home to mom who is a sucker for saving animals.. But come on kids.... NOT wild cottontails! I called up the wildbunny rescue and only got a recording saying they are NOT taking anymore rescues at this time....WHAT???????????? you have to be kidding me.... What do we do now.. WELL Bro Wicke suggests we take them BACK to the desert where they will be "SAFE"...
You should have heard the kids... Anyway I figured they should go back to the Desert or at least our front in the bushes.............................. BUT.. NOT until I've fed them (they both took 1 ml of goats milk) BUT... now they need to rest for the night where it is warm and cozy...
Needless to say they are HERE at the Crazy Arringtons until I can finally get a hold of a rescue who can take them.. No snake or coyote food tonight!!!!!!!!!
I guess I'm NOT only MARY POPPINS but a DR. DOO. LITTLE.... also... lol
Their daddy will be home in a while to give them some loving before we tuck them up for the night..
Yeah... we're just a bunch of softies over here... Thanks WICKE'S..... I think !

You know, we were really in a pickle with these little things, not knowing what to do. One had already fallen into the pool. The other had been pinned down by our dog, and both suffered at least some emotional damage due to the "gentle" play of Griffin. (The world's worst roller coaster couldn't compare.) What a relief to know we have a rabbit rescue just down the street. Whew! You don't have a garden do you? 'Cause I think one of them is named Peter.

The babies are doing great and seem to be getting bigger by the minute.. Taking 2 mls per feed now!!! Yea!!!!!!!

LOL. If I ever get sick of my dog I'll just leave her on Maxine's porch....
Maxine, did you put out a "Pets or Meat" sign in your yard to see if anyone wants to take your bunnies? They are so little and tender that they would make some great "bunny nuggets". Oh my sense of humor is bad.
